My Approach
I value a holistic, integrative approach to help individuals restore their inner strength and secure sense of self, which embraces the wisdom of our body, emotions, heart, and mind. My therapy style is relational and collaborative. The approach is healing-oriented, attachment-based, and emotion-focused with emphasis on mindfulness and compassion practices.
In my work with individuals, I draw upon over a decade of experience in Somatic Counseling Psychology, holding a Master's from the California Institute of Integral Studies. I am trained in Somatic Experiencing (SE) and Accelerated Experiential Psychodynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP), integrating the best of various models of psychotherapy. This includes trauma healing, working with the nervous system, attachment/bonding theory, and leveraging emotions for positive transformation.
